We started making Rockin' Baby Pouches with the help of our kids,
Seamus, Finn and Tova. Both of us have used slings for a very
long time, and loved them, but we realized that not everyone gets
the ring sling concept. It took us a long time to get there, but
we feel we’ve created a pouch that is easy to use, super
fashionable (all of them are reversible), and incredibly versatile.
We wanted our pouch to be adjustable so it could be as diverse
and functional as our slings, which we did with a series of zippers.
We also added a very thin rail of padding that doesn’t make
the pouch bulky, but does provide a little cushioning at the back
of the leg in the hip carry.

Baby wearing has been such a rewarding experience for both of
us, that we were happy to take a thousands of years old tradition,
and translate it into something stylish and hip. Both of us believe
that credit should go to the woman who created the sling -- wherever
she may have hailed from, Africa, Asia, Europe, South, North or
Central America… We assume that a woman, who had to work
and care for her children, was the first inventor, and the sling
the first invention.
Parents want to hold their babies all the time, but sometimes

dinner, social gatherings - most people probably won't realize
there is a baby in there. As baby gets older and bigger, you can
change the carrying position to match baby's development. There
are a variety of front carries where baby can sleep, nurse or
just hang out, as well as hip carries and a back carrying position.
